Technology help for older people

There are already 10 million people in the UK who are over 65 years old. within the next 5 years, this is projected to increase to around15 million.

Older people want to be able to lead full and independent lives, but to feel safe and secure as they do so. A wide range of personal technology is now available to help people do just that, from simple household gadgets which make daily tasks easier - such as key finders, large button telephones and one-touch kettles - to memory aids, fall sensors and personal care alarms.

With the rising demand, these items are now more readily available and at affordable prices, to help people take control of their health and lifestyle.
